Project Manager - Construction Manager (QA/QC Manager / Inspector)

 

Manager with in the Last Mile team whom was responsible for all commercial interior construction buildts involving the installation of fiber optics to new, existing, and rehab commercial and multiple dwelling units within the Kansas City Metropolitan area.

 

This involved the support of the design cycle of the Outside and inside Plant Fiber Network from preliminary design through to a fully constructible job package. Support new developments, network relocations and network upgrades, finance metric development, reporting and dashboard reporting. Manage and supporting ticketing system, review request for information from vendors. Review design specs and documentation and make recommendations for approval. Create workflow processes for implementation and improvement of internal and external tracking.  Development and maintain project schedules. And, act in the capacity of an OSP Engineer in providing quality OSP Fiber designs with accurate access points, calculations, best path analysis, and cost effectiveness.

Job Duties:

Exercised advanced level of inside plant and outside plant design knowledge, in designing and managing ISP and OSP work prints. Responsible for providing administrative and field support to the inside/outside plant provisioning process familiar with various outside plant engineering concepts such as copper and fiber optic cable.

ISP (Inside Plant) and OSP (Outside Plant ) experience with identifying assigned fiber pairs at a strategic fiber access point and designing a path through Aerial and Underground facilities.
